It is nowadays IMPOSSIBLE to find a copy in DW. And almost impossible to find ANY copy at all of the hardcover. Bob Adey spent decades trying to find a copy in DW—and had to make do with the colour Xerox I sent him. I do wonder who now owns that copy? And if they realise how rare it is? Here’s a challenge to your readers: I’ll bet my shirt that NONE of them will own a copy of the hardcover edition—unless they were lucky enough to have been offered Bob’s copy after his death</i>."<br /><br />My guesses who owns that copy now: John Norris, Bill Pronzini or one of the (impossible crime) collectors from China and Japan.
